PARTICIPATION
Researchers from anywhere in the world are welcome to apply to attend the workshop. The
number of attendees will be strictly limited and preference will be given to active
researchers and PhD
students from the European Union and also researchers from recent EU member states who
intend to work in this area.
To apply for the workshop please complete the registration form.
Applications to attend the workshop should be received by May 1. 2005. Decisions
about the actual programme and attendees will be made and published on May 3. 2005 or soon
after.
There will be a small number of invited lectures, but the main focus of the workshop is to
give participants the opportunity to give talks on new research ideas about pairings in
cryptography.
As a result, applications are very welcome from researchers who would like to give a talk
at the workshop. Talks will probably be of around 30 minutes in duration. Talks are
welcome about previously published research, or work which is already accepted but not yet
presented, or new work, or unfinished work.
Note that there will be NO conference proceedings.
Please note that we welcome attendees for the conference who do not wish to give a
presentation. In this case we still require an application to attend the conference to be
submitted.
Stipends
We are able to provide a small number of stipends to pay travel, accommodation and registration costs. These are specifically designed to pay for the costs of European PhD students and researchers from recent EU member nations. These stipends are not available for researchers from within ECRYPT institutions.
Students and researchers are encouraged to apply for this funding by
completing the relevant section of the registration form.
